Ercol
lugo medium extending table
ercol, was established 101 years ago in 1920 by Italian designer Lucian R Ercolani in High Wycombe, the centre of English furniture making.
He was intent on designing and producing relevant and honest furniture, design and people were the cornerstones of his company from the very beginning.
Design has always been at the heart of ercol. Their designs constantly evolve to reflect how we live today.
Beauty, simplicity and functionality were core values of the Nordic design movement of the mid-20th century and ercol’s Lugo Dining collection has clear references to these Scandinavian furniture design sensibilities.
A stylish medium size extending dining table that meets today’s desire for well made, understated contemporary design reflected in the stylish shadow gap, tapered legs and visible tenon joints. This contemporary, practical dining table seats six when closed and can easily and quickly be extended to seat 8 when needed, by using the reciprocating mechanism – simply pull on one end to extend and the other end opens at the same time, the extension leaf is stored neatly within the table.
